Daniel
				S. Christiansen Dr. Christiansen received his B.A. from Willamette University in 1969 and his Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1975. He began teaching at Albion College in 1981. Since then he has spent time researching and teaching at The Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Portland State University, and The Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Dr. Christiansen and his wife, Carolyn, reside in Albion. Their older son, Nels, is Assistant Professor of Economics at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. (Nels' daughter Ingrid is a budding third-generation economist.) Eric, their younger son, is a commercial airline pilot residing in Atlanta, GA.
